Tanya has practiced predominantly in family law since her admission to the legal profession. Tanya brings valuable experience in complex parenting cases, involving allegations of serious risk and parental alienation. Having successfully completed the national accreditation program, she regularly appeared in Court as the Independent Children’s Lawyer, where her role was to advocate for the best interests of the children.

Tanya also acts for clients in property settlement matters with asset pools of all sizes, adopting a solution-focused and cost-conscious approach. Known for being thoughtful and understanding, Tanya combines practical legal skill, theoretical knowledge and empathy to guide clients through challenging times with clarity and assurance.

Beyond the office, Tanya’s day usually starts bright and early with a morning walk or gym session. In her downtime, Tanya enjoys contemporary film and the arts. She also values quality time spent with family, friends and her Blue Heeler.
