Patrick is an experienced commercial lawyer who has a passionate, skilful and practical approach to his work.
He regularly acts on behalf of clients in complex and high-value commercial disputes in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the Federal Court of Australia. Patrick has particular experience in construction, corporate and commercial disputes, insolvency, debt recoveries and securities enforcement, and franchising.
Patrick’s building practice includes acting for a diverse client base ranging from builders and sub-contractors, developers, engineers, architects, and real estate agents along with his broader commercial and insolvency practice where he acts on behalf of liquidators, trustees, lenders, directors, shareholders.
He is a member of the Australian Restructuring, Insolvency & Turnaround Association. He completed the ARITA specialist qualification, the Advanced Certification in 2023 achieving a grade of distinction. Patrick is currently undertaking his Master of Laws at the University of Melbourne by coursework with a focus on commercial, equity, construction and intellectual property subjects and has achieved a high distinction (H1) average to date. As a student, Patrick has been the recipient of a number of academic awards and scholarships.
Patrick uses his strong technical legal knowledge and skills, and his commercial and practical experience in identifying an effective strategy to achieve optimal outcomes for his clients. He is particularly mindful of the time and cost involved in protracted litigation and his balanced approach ensures that his clients achieve commercial results.

Outside of work, Patrick enjoys travelling and exploring trail hikes throughout Australia.
Patrick has a broad commercial litigation practice, working with clients from a broad range of industries. His particular areas of focus include complex director and shareholder disputes, contractual disputes, debt recovery and securities enforcement, property law, building and construction, and insolvency and bankruptcy.
His experience includes advising clients in commercial disputes in the Supreme Court of Victoria and Federal Court of Australia, including in trials and interlocutory disputes.
