Jason is a senior commercial lawyer with 20 years of experience in commercial, dispute resolution, recovery and insolvency law matters.  During that time, he has advised and acted for a wide range of clients across many industries.

Jason has a proven ability to quickly understand complexities and devise risk management strategies.  He strives to achieve strong outcomes to advance his clients’ goals and, where possible, seeks to avoid contested and costly legal proceedings.

When he has been called upon to litigate, Jason seeks to conduct proceedings in an efficient manner that is not process driven.  In doing this, he has been the key lawyer in matters in the High Court, the Federal Court and Supreme Court of Victoria and achieved excellent results for his clients.

Jason is well versed in acting for lenders, insolvency practitioners, creditors, debtors and directors in insolvency, recovery and reconstruction matters.  He is a member of the Insolvency and Reconstruction Law Committee and the Law Council of Australia and has been recognised in The Best Lawyers in Australia publication in the Insolvency and Reorganisation Law section.

Outside of work, Jason is a keen follower of many sports and likes to keep active.
