Danh Nguyen

Partner
Brisbane

Danh advises accountants, lawyers and business owners on complex tax and commercial matters where structure, regulation and commercial objectives must align.

With 19 years across the Australian Taxation Office, Big 4 advisory and legal practice, Danh brings perspective shaped from within the regulator, the advisory environment, and the law.

That breadth informs how transactions are structured, disputes are managed and risk is assessed.

Danh’s work typically arises in three areas:

  • Corporate & Commercial – acquisitions and exits, shareholder arrangements, growth structuring, property development and cross border transactions
  • Tax, Duty & Regulatory Engagement – transaction structuring, audits, objections and rulings, and engagement with the ATO, State Revenue Offices and regulators including ASIC, AusIndustry and FIRB
  • Business Owners & Succession – restructures, estates, asset protection and tax issues arising in disputes or relationship breakdowns

He holds a Master of Taxation from UNSW, serves on the Institute of Public Accountants Queensland District Advisory Committee, and convenes the Brisbane Northside Accountants Discussion Group.

Outside of work, Danh has a strong passion for ancient history and the outdoors.
