Byron Cameron is a Senior Associate with a diverse legal background, experienced across a wide range of practice areas including Civil, Commercial, Insurance, Wills and Estates, Family, Criminal, QCAT, and Property law.

Currently working in the Insurance team, he brings a practical and results-driven approach to all matters, guided by strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of litigation across multiple legal domains.

He is committed to achieving optimal outcomes for clients while ensuring their expectations remain front and centre throughout the legal process.

Byron holds a Bachelor of Laws from Griffith University (2019), following an earlier Bachelor of Science majoring in Marine Biology and Ecology.

He began his legal career in a boutique law firm, gaining hands-on experience for two years before moving into the private sector within the legal profession’s regulatory field.

He is also a qualified Justice of the Peace (JP).

Recognised for his loyalty, professionalism, and passion for continued learning, Byron is dedicated to delivering timely results with skill and care.

After taking time off to recover from an injury sustained while playing soccer in 2024, Byron now returns to practice with renewed focus and energy.

Outside of work, Byron has a strong passion for the water and the outdoors.

He volunteers with Swimming Australia at State, National, and International swim meets, and enjoys hobbies such as surfing, soccer, lifeguarding, fishing, caring for native bees, and camping.
