Blake is an Associate who practices across both the Commercial Litigation and the Insurance teams.

Blake has a passion for litigation and is able to run complex matters to trial. Blake is also adept at working with clients to try and find creative and more cost-effective solutions for his clients without going to trial if possible in order to save time and money.

Blake is a dual qualified Australian and South African lawyer, having come from a general commercial, labour and family law practice in South Africa before moving to Australia in 2023 with his wife and transitioning into insurance litigation for some of the largest insurers in Australia and then to commercial litigation where he can apply his broader skills.

Outside of work, Blake is an avid motor vehicle enthusiast with a particular passion for larger 4x4 vehicles and trucks. Blake also enjoys traveling Australia with his wife and playing golf. Blake is trying to teach himself how to fish but at this point is more likely to catch a Loch Ness Monster than a fish.
