Prior to joining SLF Lawyers, Alex worked in motor vehicle and personal injury claims roles at a large international insurer, following which he spent over 3 years working for a mid-tier law firm in Brisbane, predominantly acting for local governments in the defence of public liability and professional indemnity claims.

Alex has appeared in the Magistrates, District, and Supreme Court of Queensland, and has instructed counsel in District Court and Supreme Court proceedings.

Alex prides himself on personally connecting with clients and providing them with support as well as advice; and he is fundamentally focused on achieving pragmatic, timely, and cost-effective resolutions to civil disputes.

Outside of work, Alex engages in anything related to sport (whether playing or spectating), and he has a particular passion for Aussie rules, and the mighty Brisbane Lions. Alex also enjoys craft beer, live music, the beach, good coffee, and doggos.
