A Partner at our Gold Coast office, Alana is a strategic and solution focussed lawyer who specialises in commercial litigation, dispute resolution, and insolvency.

Known for her tenacity in advocating for a client’s position and adopting a commercial mindset to facilitate a client’s desired outcomes, Alana has formed strong, long-term relationships with clients, referrers, and professionals in the legal and financial industries.

She adopts a client-centred approach in all matters, big or small, working effectively with clients to identify their ideal outcomes and implementing strategic approaches to achieve those outcomes in a cost-effective manner with limited business interruption for clients.

Admitted to practice in the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of Queensland, Alana has a depth of experience in litigating across multiple jurisdictions including Supreme Courts, District Courts, County Courts, Magistrates Court and Local Courts in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and Tasmania.

She has successfully led several large-scale litigation matters, including partnership/director/shareholder disputes, contractual disputes, misleading and deceptive conduct matters, consumer law matters, trademark litigation, large and small debt recovery, bankruptcy and liquidation proceedings.

Alana is regularly engaged by in-house counsel to provide pre-litigation advice and resolve disputes outside of Court proceedings.

As a natural leader, Alana is passionate about mentoring, developing and supporting her team of lawyers, paralegals, law clerks and PLT students.
