It is our pleasure to proudly announce that Bettina Evert of our Melbourne office has been recognised by the Law Institute of Victoria for the President’s Award for Outstanding Service.

The President’s Award for Outstanding Service is one of the LIV’s most prestigious awards, which recognises outstanding service and contribution over and above what might reasonably be expected through a voluntary contribution. Individuals who have rendered significant service to the LIV or the legal profession in a particular field may be recognised by the Council granting this award.

The LIV does incredible work to help support and promote our industry. Bettina has spent over 21 years as a member of the LIV Litigation Executive Committee and was the Chair for two years in 2019 and 2020. In conjunction with this Bettina spent 12 years contemporaneously on the LIV Courts Practice Committee.

This accolade is extremely prestigious and well deserved.

We would like to congratulate Bettina on this award, and thank Bettina for her hours of dedicated work with the LIV, all of which was voluntary and unremunerated.
